I won\u2019t go into deep detail here, since that\u2019s not the goal of this post, but if you run a local business and don\u2019t have a GMB profile, you\u2019re losing a lot of customers!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some basic optimization tips for your GMB include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Business name should match the actual business;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the most accurate category for your restaurant;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Optimized description providing all relevant information;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Up-to-date contact information and address;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Updated website URL and social profile links;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Precise, accurate location for your restaurant;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Service area;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Current business hours (including holidays, etc.);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Additional details about accessibility, amenities, kid-friendliness, parking, services, menu, payment options, etc.;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>High-quality photos and images of your menu.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, it\u2019s always a good idea to publish content about your restaurant on GMB and on your social networks.
